“Wowza, there were a TON of people at the snowflake summit in San Francisco (supposedly 20,000 strong data industry folks repping different companies at $2100 a ticket). There were some great tidbits of information about the data industry as a whole and where it is going, but also (like any conference) there were a lot of sales tactics/unlikely promises/data swag/parties etc.
Needless to say, Snowflake is attempting to become an all-in-one solution with Data infrastructure and dare I say getting too close for comfort to existing partnerships they have. I’ll explain why below...”
